It makes no difference at all. My dog does acknowledge a scent, and sniffs around in his bed, but there is no calming affect.
I have used this item few times since receiving the item. It seems to calm the dog down but only for a short time. Can't really tell if it works or not since my dog acts in the same manner after few minutes.
