My 15 year old lab has been on this for a number of years now. When I first started giving it to her, she showed signs of improvement in a few months, if not sooner.

I have never been sure whether Glucosamine/Chondroitin helps with arthritis pain, but when in doubt, do it, I always say. I have used this with three dogs who have obvious hip or arthritis issues, and all three seem to do well with it. I'd feel bad if I weren't trying to help make their lives a little better in their older years.
I particularly like this brand because it is inexpensive and easy to ration to different size dogs because the tablets are small. It's easy to feed in a small amount of canned dog food. I have peace of mind that I'm doing what I can for them, without being extravagant.
