We use this as part of a preventative plan. We have 3 dogs and one cat that are all indoor/outdoor. We started using this product back in April 2011 as part of a flea prevention plan. Because 2 of our dogs are Pomeranian's and our cat is long haired sometimes I think some of the monthly treatment gets lost in their fur and they don't get the full treatment no matter how hard we try.This powder is fine enough that we can take the dogs to the porch and sprinkle some on their backs and work it into their fur using our fingers. Our dogs actually love it! They think their getting a massage and it keeps the fleas away. Win, WinThere are no harmful chemicals so the dogs skin does not get irritated and we don't have to wear gloves making it easier to apply.[...]

My aunt was having a terrible problem with fleas on her Yorkie, and then repeated tapeworm infestations from the fleas. Frontline and other remedies were not working (although they always seem to work for me). We tried this stuff, and the fleas beat it right away. Plus, nothing harmful in it. Very satisfied at her house. Now I'm buying some, because hey - never enough safe protection against nasty fleas, and UGH tapeworms.

I prefer sprays to put on my dogs, but this powder is great to put on their beds and sheets. Also, it smells really good...like peppermint ;)I do have to say, it's a little expensive. The container is only like half full, literally.

Waste of Money
This product did nothing to control fleas at all. I spinkled it on the cat condo and fleas were still sitting on it. It does NOT control or kill fleas at all.

I have a wonderful old Cocker Spaniel with a whole host of skin problems. We've tried everything from allergy testing, food changes, hair cuts, shampoos and almost every topical treatment both prescription and OTC.I was not looking for another product to try but when this item popped up in an Amazon search for dog shampoos I became interested.After a few days of regular use, we could see some definite improvement. The Green Tee smell is strong (menthol-like) but our Cocker's skin issues make her smell like a warm Frito chip, so the smell was a welcome change.The spray worked really well - it clung to the skin which made it quick and easy to apply with a fidgety dog. I could spray her quickly on her stomach, chest and rear (where she was having most of the skin issues) in under a minute and get a nice coating on there.I very highly recommend this product!

This spray is the best product I have found on the market for itchy, raw skin. My dogs get extremely itchy in the summer months and pretty much chew their hinds to bits. I have tried at least 15 other sprays to relieve the problem and none of them do the trick. Fortunately with this spray, it is just the right consistency to get through their thick hair and directly onto the skin. Most other sprays are very thin, almost like rubbing alcohol and simply don't make it past their hair. Within days of using this spray, my dogs are far less itchy and the sores begin to heal. I will always use this spray and recommend it to anyone who asks.

Helps a lot for my Shih Tzu's allergenic skin May 16, 2009

Shih Tzu is known for their allergenic skin. The vet even suggested giving him allergy meds, which I highly disaggree. Whenever I see a hot spot, skin rash, or even pimple on my dog, I just spray this on the spot and at the most it takes two applications to heal the skin. Also I highly recommend Missing Link for dog supplement. It also improves the skin and hair conditions.

My 18-year old maltese-poodle mix has been taking NaturVet Glucosamine DS Time Release with MSM and Chondroitin since she was 14 1/2 years old. It has helped keep her active and comfortable. She gets it before she goes to bed at night and she thinks she is getting a treat instead of medicine. I would recommend this product for any dog starting to show signs of arthritis.

We buy this product because it is natural and not made in China! But, we don't really know if it has any healing attributes! We give it to our dog, because the vet recommends it. I break it up and put it in with her dry food and she eats them! Other than that, we can't really rate this product high, until we know it actually works!

Didn't stop disgusting 'poop eating' March 10, 2011

So it's obviously a disgusting habit that many puppies go through. I've read up as to why they do it whether it be lack of nutrients in their diet, or too rich of nutrients. I've also read that dogs can 'eat their poop' due to boredom, etc. I picked this product because I was able to get it fast, and because it has a money back guarantee. Long story short, I have a Chocolate Lab and he does not like eating these tablets, so I have to break them up into 4 pieces and mix them with his food and hope he doesn't pick around them. Regardless, I've been using these tablets for almost a month now and he still comes back with poop breath. I guess I'll just keep trying other products until I find something that works, because it's embarrassing to tell someone not let my dog lick them because he's a little poop eater. Maybe it'll work with your dog, but it sure didn't work with mine.

I am taking the time to review this because I want to support a very good product. I have 3 precious chihuahuas and wouldn't give them anything harmful. I have noticed that you have to be consistent with this, but it works and is a gentle product. Just keep it up and it helps a lot.

It works but you have to double up or triple up on the amounts you give your dog. Per my vet,MSM is the key componet(in large amounts)to helping a dog with his joints,not the other ingredients. So I give my 11 year old,22 lb dog 3 of them in am and then 3 more and pm. MSM=140 mg per chew. He perked right up and leaps down the stairs to the landing now. No stomach upsets. My vet says at least 800 mgs of MSM a day. So far so good. I like these soft chews cause the price is good since I have to triple up on them. I also like them cause my dog gobbles them up. No paws(pause). I recommend them.I also recommend getting dog off food with grain in it. My dog has been losing his excess fat fast since I switched him to Natural Balance Alpha dry food and LTD wet dog food. The lighter or in shape your dog is-the better it is on the joints-especially if the the dog is older. Just my opinion.

Bite-size, easy-to-feed, all-natural chews that smell great! I would give my dogs treat regardless, so why not give a treat with added benefits! The resealable bag is also a plus. I will be picking up the other varieties very soon!
