As a Vet Tech with 20 years or so under my belt, I have accumulated many "needy" critters. My all-time favorite is a 14 year old orange domestic longhair male kitty named Currituck. Tucker always showed many symptoms of urinary tract problems and blocked up more than once-barely living through one episode. Crystals in his urine have always been an issue, as well as the accompanying infections and discomfort. Prescription foods soon became too expensive with my large crew-so I began to "cook" for him. Since the prescription foods all have a urinary acidifier in them, I ordered NaturVet Cranberry Relief and hoped for the best. I did monitor his urinary pH for a while until I knew what his daily dose should be. He is happier and healthier that ever-pretty good for a kitty who almost died 7 years ago!

Godsend for UTI-prone cats March 1, 2010

I have two cats, one male and one female, and they are both prone to UTI - whenever they are stressed slightest bit, they'll have an episode. My vet recommended that I add supplements to their regular diet to keep this from happening too often. I did some searches, this seemed easiest (and also the cheapest) way to administer the supplements. I know cranberries are good for humans too, so I figured why not. At first I was afraid they wouldn't eat their wet food because of the cranberry odor(and yes they are picky about their food) but to my amazement, neither of them seem to care and gobbled it down. Granted, I added the powder into Fancy Feast (not the best food around, but it's by far their favorite wet food... go figure) so maybe that helped. I haven't yet tried adding the powder into their "regular" wet food (Natural Balance) which they don't like as much but is more nutritious. But I'm pretty positive they won't mind it much.Since I've started adding the powder (3-4 times a week) my little girl has been peeing noticeably better (she recently had an episode of UTI)so I am more than happy! I think the tub will last at least 3 months, even though I have two cats. And the label says you don't have to use it everyday. Another plus: I love the little scoop it comes with, so I know the exact amount to add. If you can't find the scoop in your tub, it's probably buried somewhere in the tub.. you gotta poke around underneath all the powder to fish it out the first time.Bottom line, if you have a UTI-prone cat, you MUST try it. It's cheaper than going to a vet and good for your cat... Will buy again and totally recommended!(Tip: I add few tablespoons of water into the wet food with the powder to increase their water intake. Then I microwave for 15 seconds)

Gave my old Lab a second chance April 9, 2012

My 13 year old Lab mix has been a sufferer of arthritis in his neck and spine for the past 3 years. The occasional cortisone shots from the vet were addled with side effects, excessive eating and drinking, and frequent trips outside to go potty in the middle of the night. We had took him to an animal chiropractor and it helped somewhat. In the last few months he was getting worse. He could rarely get up from his dog bed right away when he first woke up in the morning (he has a memory foam dog bed), and couldn't jump on the couch at all. I didn't want to have to have him put down because he was in so much pain, so I thought I would try these pills as a last resort. It took about 2 weeks to see an improvement. Now he seems happier, is not as stiff and can jump up on the couch by himself! He eats them without any problem, I don't have to disguise the pills in cream cheese or anything, he just eats them. The results are not overnight, but they are fairly quick as long as you make sure you give them to your dog everyday to keep the levels up in the blood.

My two dogs are pretty young, but the 4 yr. old Westie was showing signs of morning stiffness when she was 3. I began her on this supplement and the stiffness went away. I have a 3 yr. old small Aussie who only take 1/2 tablet because she would miss out when the other dog got it. More or less I feed them as a treat.I would stay with this product because it does help, and it is affordable.

It was like pulling teeth to find out what the inactive ingredients is in this product, I had to practically threaten a lawsuit. They tried to tell me all that is on the label is it. Turns out that the inactive ingredient (75% of the product) is maltodextrin (sugar/carb) If you pet is on a low carb diet or has diabetes DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.

My Bouvier has a sensitive stomach. He has always had a soft sometimes loose stool. Adding these enzymes helps digestion and firms up his stool after the first use. I wouldn't be without it. I take enzymes, and I want my pet to have every nutritional benefit possible. I want him to be healthy and happy and this product is highly recommended.

I adopted a stray cat. He had his check-up at the vet and everything was fine. However, he had soft stool the first few days after he arrived, sometimes even with trace of blood. He would also vomit daily. I reviewed my options online and bought this product. I mixed it with his wet food and he didn't even notice anything different. His stool was firm and he gained weight within days after using it. I used other products to deal with the hairball problem and he now only vomits if he eats grass.

One of my cats swears by this product. Periodically he has hairball issues but this seems to help in keeping them down. He even looks forward to taking it just like a treat...
The other cat doesn't really get hairballs, and in turn does not seem to like the gel. He'll take some on occassion (i always offer when giving it to the first), but usually he turns it down. Luckily he doesn't have hairballs to begin with, so can't really complain, but just goes to show that not all cats respond to it.

My cat ingests all the hair that she licks off of herself as well as any stray hairs of mine that happen upon one of her toys. I worry that down the line she will have issues and wanted to give her a digestive aid to prevent blockages inside her.
I'm so glad that this gel is all natural. Although my vet says a LITTLE petrolatum isn't harmful to a cat, but to give a cat 1/2 tsp of it every day might be bad. It even smells good - not fishy, but like maple syrup.
What I'm most glad for is that now I can take her off of Science Diet hairball formula. Why do vets recommend kibble that contains corn meal and corn products in general
I'm going to start her on a grain-free kibble and keep administering this hairball remedy.

DOGS ARE SO FINICKY WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD BUT MY LHASA JUST LOVES THE TASTE OF THESE PILLS.
