NaturVet Enzymes is a concentrated enzyme blend derived from vegetable sources and not from animal sources. NaturVet Enzymes contains sources of: alpha-Amylase which can hydrolyze starch, Protease which can hydrolyze proteins, Cellulase which can break down cellulose, Lipase which can hydrolyze triglycerides. Directions: Give with every meal: 0-20 lb 1/4 tsp, 21-39 lb 1/2 tsp, 40-79 lb 3/4 tsp, 80-99 lb 1 tsp, 100+ lbs 11/4 tsp.

It was like pulling teeth to find out what the inactive ingredients is in this product, I had to practically threaten a lawsuit. They tried to tell me all that is on the label is it. Turns out that the inactive ingredient (75% of the product) is maltodextrin (sugar/carb) If you pet is on a low carb diet or has diabetes DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.

It Works Right Away May 20, 2007

My Bouvier has a sensitive stomach. He has always had a soft sometimes loose stool. Adding these enzymes helps digestion and firms up his stool after the first use. I wouldn't be without it. I take enzymes, and I want my pet to have every nutritional benefit possible. I want him to be healthy and happy and this product is highly recommended.

I adopted a stray cat. He had his check-up at the vet and everything was fine. However, he had soft stool the first few days after he arrived, sometimes even with trace of blood. He would also vomit daily. I reviewed my options online and bought this product. I mixed it with his wet food and he didn't even notice anything different. His stool was firm and he gained weight within days after using it. I used other products to deal with the hairball problem and he now only vomits if he eats grass.
