One of my cats swears by this product. Periodically he has hairball issues but this seems to help in keeping them down. He even looks forward to taking it just like a treat...
The other cat doesn't really get hairballs, and in turn does not seem to like the gel. He'll take some on occassion (i always offer when giving it to the first), but usually he turns it down. Luckily he doesn't have hairballs to begin with, so can't really complain, but just goes to show that not all cats respond to it.

My cat ingests all the hair that she licks off of herself as well as any stray hairs of mine that happen upon one of her toys. I worry that down the line she will have issues and wanted to give her a digestive aid to prevent blockages inside her.
I'm so glad that this gel is all natural. Although my vet says a LITTLE petrolatum isn't harmful to a cat, but to give a cat 1/2 tsp of it every day might be bad. It even smells good - not fishy, but like maple syrup.
What I'm most glad for is that now I can take her off of Science Diet hairball formula. Why do vets recommend kibble that contains corn meal and corn products in general
I'm going to start her on a grain-free kibble and keep administering this hairball remedy.
