We use this as part of a preventative plan. We have 3 dogs and one cat that are all indoor/outdoor. We started using this product back in April 2011 as part of a flea prevention plan. Because 2 of our dogs are Pomeranian's and our cat is long haired sometimes I think some of the monthly treatment gets lost in their fur and they don't get the full treatment no matter how hard we try.
This powder is fine enough that we can take the dogs to the porch and sprinkle some on their backs and work it into their fur using our fingers. Our dogs actually love it! They think their getting a massage and it keeps the fleas away. Win, Win
There are no harmful chemicals so the dogs skin does not get irritated and we don't have to wear gloves making it easier to apply.

My aunt was having a terrible problem with fleas on her Yorkie, and then repeated tapeworm infestations from the fleas. Frontline and other remedies were not working (although they always seem to work for me). We tried this stuff, and the fleas beat it right away. Plus, nothing harmful in it. Very satisfied at her house. Now I'm buying some, because hey - never enough safe protection against nasty fleas, and UGH tapeworms.
