NaturVet Ear Wash with Tea Tree Oil , 4 Ounce
Customer Reviews
This is an excellent product. It dissolves wax quickly and cleans gently. I've used it in my standard poodle's ears for a year now - tea tree oil is anti-viral, antibiotic, anti-fungal and (I believe) anti-inflammatory as well!
I purchased a few bottles of this and today I was talking to a woman who was a vet tech for 15 years and she told me NOT to use Tea tree oil. She said that it is toxic for dogs and cats. She said she saw a lot of dogs and cats brought in from their owners using tea tree oil. It is toxic both by ingestion and when used topically. I then researched it online and found the same information. I have not even received my ear drops and I am not going to take the chance. I heard about the product through the emergency room vet and I know a lot of other reviewers love the product, but I think I will try and find something a little safer to use.
