I use this to help my cat be calm when I take him to the groomer for clipping his claws. He is a pretty high strung cat and he never has any problem getting his claws trimmed. Before putting him in the kennel, I put a towel in the bottom of the kennel and spray the towel with this product. He is VERY relaxed when I take him out at the groomer's so I attribute that to this product. I hope it is always available for us!
I'm buying "NaturVet Quiet Moments Herbal Calming Spray" for two of my cats (me, too, if it helps). Here's the deal. I have had two beautiful cats for three years, getting one just three months after the other.
We had our nice little routine until this gorgeous, but malnourished young cat appeared at our patio door, meowing for food? attention? what?
She was a black and white fur coat with little meat under it. Bones showed through the fur. I fed her every night, then started letting her in. I removed her too-tight collar. Finally, one night after a month, I kept her in and the next morning took her to the vet. I had her spayed and de-clawed on the front feet (because my other two came de-clawed). They had to be on equal footing (so to speak).
Integration has NOT gone well. In fact, it has not even gone one inch. One of the first cats and the new one keep hissing, growling, and fighting each other. I keep the new one in my bedroom and the other two have the roam of the rest of the house. This is not how it is supposed to be. We are supposed to all get along and sleep in the same bed like before.
When I saw this product, I knew I had to try it on them and me, too, if need be. We are not calm. If anyone knows another way we can all live together, please leave me a comment.
