I have a 10 year old 75 Shepherd mix who was suffering from typical large dog hip arthritis. Product was recommended to me by a friend for treatment of this--she had experienced good results with her dog. Within a few weeks after starting treatment my dog was showing significant improvement. He has been on this med for about a year now and I notice none of the difficulty arising after sitting for long spells that he used to experience. I have not noticed any side effects. I would highly recommend this product. BTW--Dosage for my dog is 2 tablets daily.
Our Great Dane tore both her ACLs this last year (2010). First one in May, second one in August. We were having issues with her mobility in the summer and a friend who was going through vet school told me to find a great Glucosamine pill with MSM. This was the one that was recommended to me in the store and we have stuck with it since! Our Dane had first surgery in August and now thinks she can run, even though she we still have do surgery on the second leg. I would recommend these to anyone whose dog needs more mobility!
